Tips for Your First Class
Hydration is Key
Proper hydration is crucial before, during, and after a hot yoga class, as the heated environment leads to increased sweating and fluid loss.
Avoid Caffeine
Caffeine can have diuretic effects, thus it is recommended to avoid caffeinated beverages before class as this can lead to feelings of dizziness due to dehydration.
Come Prepared
Arrive early to settle in. Wear light, breathable clothing, and bring a yoga mat, towel, and water.
Listen to Your Body
Challenge yourself, but respect your limits. It's completely okay to take breaks, drink water, and modify poses as needed. Honor your body's signals.
